Geodata on-demand
VistaPlan Go includes a worldwide database of high-quality geodata, with options spanning 2D, standard 3D, and high-resolution 3D. Using an integrated workflow and the credits included in your subscription, you can extract exactly the geodata your project requires, at the resolution that best fits your accuracy needs and budget. The result: you start working on a design within minutes, and avoid the time and cost of acquiring geodata from a third-party vendor.

Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) planning
Mobile subscribers move around and tolerate occasional patches of poor coverage. Fixed wireless access users do not: they expect excellent throughput at their customer premises equipment (CPE) location, every time. VistaPlan Go lets you import the locations of all your CPEs and report on the network performance that can be expected at each one, alongside efficient end-to-end FWA network planning.

Automated planning and optimization
Automation is the key enabler of wireless network planning efficiency. VistaPlan Go's automated cell planning (ACP) has two operating modes. In site-selection mode, it identifies the optimal sites to meet defined coverage and throughput criteria for a target area. In optimization mode, it tunes the cell configurations of all sites within a defined polygon to maximize network performance, without adding new sites.

4G and 5G network planning
Whether you are planning a new network or expanding an existing one, efficient and accurate planning is critical. VistaPlan Go's high-resolution geodata and pre-calibrated propagation models ensure both speed and accuracy. Its intuitive interface lets planning engineers deliver high-quality designs at lower cost, and within the increasingly short deadlines the business demands, ultimately reducing the time-to-market of new sites.

Private wireless network planning
Private wireless is not one size fits all. You might need low site density and broad coverage for agricultural monitoring, ultra-low latency for V2X applications, or high resilience for public safety. Whatever the profile, VistaPlan Go helps you determine the most cost-efficient design that meets the performance requirements of the business.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. VistaPlan Go is the same SaaS RF planning solution you know as Planet Cloud: same product, same team, same capabilities, same release roadmap. Only the name has changed.
As part of Infovista's unified product strategy, our network planning products now sit under the VistaPlan family. VistaPlan Go is the SaaS member of that family, alongside Planet (desktop), Ellipse (backhaul planning), and Geodata. Ultimately, all product names will evolve. The new names aim to make it easier for customers to navigate our portfolio and to see how each product complements the others.
No action is required. Your subscription, your projects, your saved data, your user accounts, your integrations, and your support contracts all continue exactly as before. The only difference you will notice is the updated product name in the user interface, documentation, and communications.
Existing login URLs will continue to work. Over time, the user interface and documentation will progressively reflect the new VistaPlan Go branding, but no migration or re-registration is required on your part.
No. Your support team, account manager, and case-handling processes remain the same. You can continue to reach Infovista support through the same channels you use today.
Yes. The partnership with Google Cloud — including the integration of Google's Propagation API — remains fully in place under the VistaPlan Go name. The capability, its scope, and its roadmap are unchanged.
VistaPlan Go is a SaaS-based RF planning solution that lets operators, enterprises, and system integrators design and optimize wireless networks faster, more accurately, and at lower cost than traditional on-premises tools. It combines an intuitive user interface, pre-calibrated propagation models, and worldwide geodata in a single online environment
Both are part of the VistaPlan family, but they serve different needs. Planet is the desktop RF planning solution, offering the deepest capabilities for complex, large-scale projects with advanced customization. VistaPlan Go is the SaaS solution, optimized for speed, accessibility, and ease of use — designed for teams that need to plan quickly without managing local infrastructure.
Yes. VistaPlan Go is the Google-recommended SaaS alternative to Google Network Planner, co-developed with Google Cloud and built on the same underlying Propagation API.
VistaPlan Go supports 4G and 5G out of the box, with full coverage for both commercial and private wireless deployments. A generic technology option also lets you configure additional wireless standards manually, extending its applicability to virtually any RF planning scenario.
Yes. VistaPlan Go is well suited for private wireless network planning, including low-density wide-area deployments, ultra-low-latency industrial scenarios, and high-resilience networks for public safety, utilities, healthcare, and similar mission-critical environments.
VistaPlan Go offers two pre-calibrated propagation models: Planet AIM (Infovista's AI-tuned model) and Google's propagation model. Both are pre-calibrated against massive datasets to deliver fast, accurate predictions without requiring manual tuning.
VistaPlan Go includes a worldwide geodata library available in 2D, standard 3D, and high-resolution 3D formats. Geodata can be extracted on-demand through an integrated workflow using credits included in your subscription — at the resolution that best fits each project's accuracy and budget requirements.
VistaPlan Go delivers accuracy comparable to traditional desktop RF planning tools, thanks to its high-resolution geodata and AI-tuned propagation models. The pre-calibration of both Planet AIM and the Google model removes the manual tuning effort that has historically been a major source of error and delay in RF planning workflows.
Yes. Automated cell planning is included in two modes: site selection (identifying the optimal sites to meet defined coverage and throughput criteria) and optimization (tuning the cell configurations of existing sites to maximize performance without adding new sites).
Yes. VistaPlan Go supports end-to-end FWA planning and can import CPE locations to report on the network performance that can be expected at each customer site, critical for FWA service quality, where users do not move and consistent throughput at the premises is a baseline expectation.
Because VistaPlan Go is delivered as SaaS, setup is fast: you can be planning your first project within minutes of subscription activation, with no local installation, no IT provisioning, and no geodata procurement delays.
VistaPlan Go is built on enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with the access controls, data segregation, and security practices that Infovista applies across its SaaS portfolio. Full security documentation is available on request through your account team.
