Samsung Galaxy S10
The Samsung Galaxy S10 is capable of measuring high speed data throughput performance (up to 2 Gbits/s Downlink and 150 Mbits/s Uplink). The S10 also supports Wi-Fi 6 which makes it possible to measure Wi-Fi data throughput up to 1.5Gbits/s. S10 models will be available with Qualcomm or Samsung chipset depending on region.
Apple iPhone XS​
Use the popular Apple iPhone XS for data collection with TEMS Investigation. It is an Apple A12 Bionic chipset based smartphone running Apple iOS and capable of performing data and voice service testing.​
Samsung Galaxy S9 ​
Perform high-speed data service testing with the Samsung Galaxy S9, capable of LTE Cat. 18 (up to 1200 Mbit/s) and 5CA using advanced control functionality. ​
Two versions are available, the US version is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and the global/EU version on the Samsung Exynos 9810.​
Sony Xperia XZ2​
The Sony Xperia XZ2 is a good choice for performing network testing and verification. It provides advanced control functionality and is capable of LTE Cat. 18 (up to 1200 Mbit/s) and 5CA.​
OnePlus 6T
The OnePlus 6T is an affordable Qualcomm based smartphone running Android 9.0. It supports up to 5CA and is capable of LTE Cat. 16 (up to 1 Gbit/s).​
Asus ZenFone 5Z​
The affordable Asus Zenfone 5Z offers high speed data service testing with speeds up to 1200 Mbit/s and can be controlled by TEMS producs with basic control functionality. Based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset makes it capable of LTE Cat. 18 with up to 5CA.​
Essential Phone PH-1​
The Essential Phone PH-1 is an affordable Qualcomm based smartphone, running support for a large number of bands and technologies (including LTE Band 42) making it a useful testing device.​

Introducing 5G Scanning

The PCTEL HBflex and IBflex scanners are highly flexible test tools with 5G NR testing capabilities on sub-6 GHz bands. The PCTEL HBflex also has support for mmWave scanning.​ 

Both scanners can be used to clear spectrum or test 5G NR alongside LTE, NB-IoT, Wi-Fi, and legacy 3G and 2G wireless network technologies.​
 

sQLEAR

sQLEAR – A new, innovative AQM algorithm, trained using the latest machine learning techniques, validated and evaluated in conformance with ITU standards.​

It uses a combination of network parameters, codec/client information and reference audio to predict MOS scores with proven high accuracy for VoLTE services using EVS.​

sQLEAR scores are comparable between device models and suitable for benchmarking scenarios.​
