Recapping the Application Performance Management Road Trip

Throughout this year, members of the Infovista community, including partners and customers, have traveled all around to learn about application performance management. From exclusive dinners to sporting matches, we're proud to have brought together members of our user community to learn about the value of achieving application performance. And we had some fun, too.

Here is a recap of some of the events we've attended over the last few months:

Dinner at the Shard on the Future of Digital Transformation

In February, we hosted a private dinner at the Shard, attended by 15 IT executives. Spirits were high, the atmosphere was relaxed, and everyone shared a great meal while discussing the Future of Digital Transformation.

Shard Dinner Co-Hosted with BT

Shard Application Performance ManagementA few months later, we were back at the Shard to co-host an exclusive dinner with BT at the AquaShard Restaurant. We were joined by 25 IT executives from Arcadia, Dixons Carphone, Halfords, Dunnhumby, Coral, Boots, Barclays and Coop Bank to debate “The Transformational Journey in Retail,” over a three-course meal.

Qasim Ali, Director of Group IT Services at Dixons Carphone, took the stage to explain how, by deploying the Infovista application performance management tool to control application flows, Dixons Carphone was able to ensure business critical applications and measurably improve customer experience and staff productivity.

T20 Cricket at Lord's

In June, we were joined by our friends and peers — Getronics, Colt, Fujitsu, Coral and Dixons Carphone — for a lovely evening at Lord's, complete with a rolling summer buffet, a few beers and lots of evening sun while watching Middlesex v. Hampshire.

The Ultimate in Performance Comes Home to Brooklands

Mercedes WorldAlso that month, our application performance tool hit the prestigious venue of Mercedes World at Brooklands. We were pleased to be joined by a select number of partners and clients to update them on the just how SSL optimization will transform the migration to cloud-based applications, and finally see the performance needed to really change our expected working practices.

We also talked further about the development of the Infovista portfolio and the solutions that add significant value to our clients, including Dynamic WAN Selection (DWS) and our new Virtual Engine that brings full application performance management to virtualized environments.

We hope to see you at the next event hosted by Infovista!
