InfoVista Affirms Status as Leader in Multi-Vendor IP Service Performance Assurance by Broadening its Integration Scope with Alcatel-Lucent for Ethernet Mobile Backhaul.

With this release, InfoVista extensively supports deployments of the Alcatel-Lucent 7705 Service Aggregation Router—a platform well suited to the transport needs of the evolving mobile radio access network (RAN).
Infonetics Research, an international data networking and telecom market research firm, estimates that the IP/Ethernet mobile backhaul equipment market will more than double from $4.6 billion in 2008 to almost $11 billion in 2013. This is fueled primarily by unprecedented growth in demand for mobile data services and quality sensitive applications.

The in-sync pre-integration means that service providers can deploy the very latest equipment from Alcatel-Lucent knowing they can launch, monitor, and report on services without the pain of lengthy OSS integration projects.
